August to September Selection Process: Students to extend their French skills by focussing on pronunciation, intonation and cultural content. THE SIMPSON PRIZE COMPETITION
Students work on improving and extending their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills by working with language support staff and volunteers. A select number of students are invited to sit an oral test which determines overall prize ihldas for different levels.
They conduct a laboratory activity in the Biodiscovery Lab alongside researchers where they test DNA for the presence of the Huntington gene. Students usually Seniors travel to Sydney for this competition. Open to all year 7 — 10 students. At different times of the year depending on trip Selection Process: Advanced students are given hitsory chance to conduct an ensemble in class or cocurricular group.
Guest speakers work with students. Historu student in the School may become a member of any of the groups, at any point during the year. Three teams of four students compete against other metropolitan schools in a competition of Numero games and challenges.
All Year 10 BME students. Our Outreach Officer regularly visits Surrey to offer talks and programmes for both teachers and students. Students invent and prepare a meal based on a different flavour.
